Manufacturing process
We dominate a multiplicity of different manufacturing processes. This way, we are able to precisely meet your specific requirements for a product effectiveness in particular with regard to cost. As a system supplier we offer all benefits from one hand. A decisive advantage for the smooth implementation of your projects.
3D-Printing
Stükerjürgen Aerospace Composites GmbH & Co. KG uses the FDM process (Fused Deposition Modeling) in the field of additive manufacturing (3D printing).
FDM is a manufactruing process in which a workpiece is built up layer by layer from meltable plastic.
- Max. component size in one print of
PEI 9085 and ABS: 900 x 600 x 900 mm - Max. component size in one print
made of various materials: 400 x 350 x 400 mm
Ferdinand Stükerjürgen now also supplies you with the plastic filaments required for 3D printing.
Injection moulding
The injection moulding process is a manufacturing process in which the material is injected into a mould.
The injection moulding process is one of the most common manufacturing processes and makes it possible to produce plastic molded parts in small and large quantities in a cost- effective manner. An infinite number of shapes and surface structures can be realized. The process can be used economically, especially with large production volumes. Maximum repetition and fitting accurary is ensured and the perfect dimensional accuracy and colour fidelity of your injection moulded articles are taken into account.
- Components from 0,1g to 6.000g
- Internal gas- filled printing process
- Inserts and outserts technology
- Silicon injection point
Extrusion
Extrusion is an ongoing production process for the production of profiles.
A thermoplastic or elastomer is continously pressed out of a shaping nozzle. Product labelling is done linearly by offset printing, injekt printing or hot printing.
Various pipes and high- tech profiles:
- Weight from 10g to 6.000g per meter
- Maximum width of 700mm
- Direct integration of holes, stencils and imprints.
Machinery
- Full automated equipment
- Machinery regulated by infrared light
- Regulated by micro processed temperature regulater
Identification through:
- Offset
- Ink-jet printing
- Hot stamping foil printing
Thermoforming
The thermoforming is a process for forming thermoplastics, whereby a sheet is heated and formed by a vacuum using a thermoforming tool.
This manufacturing process still requires deburring by CNC milling machines. This is a cost- effective solution for prototypes and small series.
- Large parts up to 2400 x 1200 x 900 mm possible
- Economic solution
- Suitable for prototypes and small series
- Relevant for visual components (no varnishing required)
- Structured or smooth surfaces available
- Various colours available
- In- house plate production (Material PEI and PC)
STIn
STIn for small series and prototypes by injection molding.
STIn is a process concept for the production of small series and prototype components from thermoplastics in the injection moulding process. The components are produced in special tool systems, which can be made from different materials (depending on the number of pieces and plastic material). The delivery time of the components, starting from the release of the construction data, from 3 weeks up to max. 4 weeks.

STEx
STEx for small series and prototypes by extrusion.
STEx is a process concept for the production of small series and prototype components from thermoplastics in the extrusion sector. The extrudates are produced in special tool systems, which can be made from different materials (depending on the number of pieces and plastic material). The delivery time of the extrudates, from the release of the design data, is 3 week up to max. 4 weeks.
EMC
EMC stands for the “Extrusion-Moulding-Combination” and has been developed when assemblies in different lenghts are required.
Individual cabin design at low cost
The combination of injection molded components with the extrusion profiles allows the prodution of finished components in different lenghts with just one tool set. The components are painted or manufactured with a special design according to your wishes.
- Cost- effectives solution
- Components ready for installation
Sandwich
SAC Sandwich is an economical solution for very lightweight and stable assemblies.
The design is flexible and can be adapted for your needs.
Advantages:
- Very light
- Extremely stable
- Economic solution
- Manufactured from various air- approved plastics
- Various geometries possible
- Small quantities possible
- Certified materials in accordance with FAR 25.853 and ABD0031
Composite processing
In the composite processing we manufacture for you individual, high- quality and according to your design wishes assemblies and furniture.
Examples
Drawer system:
Extendable bar with mirror back and LED lighting
